Central Finland is at the forefront of bioeconomy development. We have in-demand expertise in renewable energy, food production, nutrient recycling, clean water, and new bioeconomy products. Central Finland is in the midst of renewable natural resources – one proof of this is the bioproduct factory next to the Bioeconomics Campus.

At the bioeconomy campus, bioeconomy’s practical know-how, development work and business services come together. Students of the bioeconomy field, start-up companies, as well as developers who have already advanced their business can find a place with us.

In the future, bioeconomy will employ experts in the field of natural resources, especially as entrepreneurs. Research and development work produces new knowledge and competitiveness for companies in the field. Biotalouskampus offers companies unique opportunities to utilize the area’s business development services, the resources of educational organizations and cooperation with other companies. Several bioeconomy-related laboratories and illustration environments are available on the bioeconomy campus.

The educational offer of bioeconomy campus includes education programs preparing for secondary and university of applied sciences degrees, as well as shorter postgraduate and continuing educations. At the bioeconomy campus, students can flexibly transition from student to entrepreneur in a safe, supported environment.

"The facilities are so good in here to arrange this kind of event and our co-operation with you have worked perfectly."
